Summer Reading 2019: A Universe of Stories

Breakout Rooms

Friday, July 19 from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM in the Carnegie Library Center

 

Do you think you and your friends have what it takes to break out in just 60 minutes? Be prepared for a challenge full of math, logic, puzzles, and mystery. There will be four sessions of break out rooms. All sessions will start on the hour, so please arrive 15 minutes early.

 

Each session will have 8 members.

 

Refreshments and delicious snacks will be provided.

End of Summer Reading Celebration

Friday, August 2 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM on the Library’s Front Lawn

 

Celebrate a summer full of accomplishments! To participate, attendees must have completed the Summer Reading program.

 

Registration is not necessary.

Teen Library Council (TLC)

The last Wednesday of the month from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the Community Room

For teens in grades 6 – 12. Attendance to monthly meetings is required.

We are actively seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated teens to join our Teen Library Council! Council members have the important duty of advising the library staff on teen interests. Let’s create the kind of programs you like, read the kind of books you want to read, and create spaces for young adults, by young adults.
