Therapy Ball Massage Workshop
Saturday, Sept. 30th | 10:30-12:30 | Carnegie Library Center
If you have pain or tension, then you don’t want to miss this program! Tennis ball self-massage is a valuable tool to interrupt tension patterns that form in the body over time. Studies have shown that regular massage can reduce stress, increase relaxation, reduce pain and muscle tension, improve circulation, lower heart rate and blood pressure, and improve immune function.
Join licensed massage therapist, yoga educator, and Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner Karen DiGirolamo for a two-hour tennis ball self-massage workshop. Karen will skillfully guide you on a journey through the body using your body weight, internal awareness, breath, and slow and gentle movement against tennis balls, dryer balls, or the balls of your choice. You genuinely want to take advantage of this exceptional FREE opportunity to increase your overall well-being! Some supplies will be available, but if you can, please bring two tennis balls knotted in a sock and a yoga mat, as much of the work will be done on the floor. Registration is not necessary.
