What is a Digital Access Card?

A Digital Access Card gives you access to all of our Digital Resources. Because you cannot use this card to check out physical materials from our Main Library building, it’s impossible to accumulate a late fee. This means you always have access to our Digital Resources.

You do NOT need a Digital Access Card if you have a traditional library card. If you are not sure if you have a traditional library card, call the Library at (502) 633-3803 and a staff member will help locate your account.

Who can get a Digital Access Card?

Anyone who lives in Shelby County, Kentucky, or one of the following of our neighboring, reciprocating counties:

  • Anderson
  • Bullitt
  • Carol
  • Franklin
  • Grayson
  • Hardin
  • Henry
  • LaRue
  • Marion
