Brown Bag Book Club

2nd Tuesday of the month at 1:00 PM in the Carnegie Library Center

What is Brown Bag Book Club?

It’s a group of ladies who enjoy chatting about all things book-related, hosted by Pam Federspiel and Whitney Wooters.

It’s called Brown Bag Book Club because when the book club started in 1992, everyone brought their own lunch in a brown paper bag. Now, the library serves refreshments! Also, if the book club likes the books they read, they are turned into book kits that anyone can check out to use for their book club, and they are kept in brown bags.

How it works:

  • Pick up a copy of this month’s book at the Front Desk of the Main Library.
  • Come to book club for a fun discussion!
  • Return your book at the meeting, and pick up the next one.

Do you have a book suggestion? Please email the Library at admin@scplibrary.net.
