An Evening with Kentucky Author James Markert
Thursday, October 12th | 6:00-7:00 PM | Carnegie Library Center
Kick off the spooky season by joining us for an evening with Kentucky author James Markert. Markert is a novelist, screenwriter, producer, and USPTA tennis pro from Louisville, Kentucky, where he lives with his wife and two children. He graduated with a degree in History from the University of Louisville in 1997 and has been writing ever since. He won an IPPY Award for The Requiem Rose, which Sourcebooks later published as A White Wind Blew. Markert’s latest novel, The Nightmare Man, delves into the horror genre, a significant change from his typical works of magical realism-infused historical fiction.
