Language learning is good for your brain.

According to research from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, (read more on ACTFL’s and Lead with Languages’ websites) learning languages can be beneficial in many ways.

  • Correlates with higher scholastic achievements.
  • Improves reading ability.
  • Stronger ability to hypothesize in science.
  • Increases job opportunities.
  • Improves your concentration, memory, and listening skills.

Mango is an easy way to learn a new language.

Often it’s difficult to learn a new language because it’s hard to pronounce the words you’re learning, you can’t go at your own pace, or what you’re learning doesn’t apply in real life. Mango is different, though.

You can learn at a speed that’s perfect for you. Slow down pronunciations, and learn how to have actual conversations. For example, when learning Spanish, the first section you’ll cover is “Salutations and Small Talk.” There’s even a way you can specialize your language learning to business, legal, medical, text talk, and more.

When she’s not at work, she’s spending time with her husband and family, hoping that includes a fishing excursion or campfire.
